We believe that true democracy thrives when local governance is strong, transparent, and participatory. Our organization actively works to identify, train, and support emerging leaders who are committed to ethical and people-centric governance. Through a network of ward committees, we enable communities to resolve local issues effectively and elect representatives who genuinely serve the interests of the people.

Inspired by the visionary leadership of Rajiv Gandhi, RGPRS aims to empower grassroots democracy by nurturing honest and compassionate leaders from every ward, Panchayat, and urban body in Tamil Nadu.

Our Vision

Our vision is to realize Rajiv Gandhi’s dream of Gram Swaraj—a self-sufficient and empowered local governance system that ensures development and harmony. We envision a future where every village and urban locality in Tamil Nadu has strong, well-informed leadership that works towards sustainable progress, inclusivity, and social justice.

Our Mission

  • To establish ward committees that actively engage in resolving local issues, fostering community participation, and electing the right representatives.
  • To educate citizens about local budgets, governance structures, and their rights and responsibilities in a democracy.
